A twin XL blanket is longer than a standard twin blanket, designed to fit a twin XL bed, which is typically 39 inches wide and 80 inches long. A full (or double) bed measures 54 inches wide and 75 inches long. While a twin XL blanket may cover the length of a full bed, it might not provide sufficient width to fully cover both sides of the bed, so it may not be ideal for complete coverage.
